Series 1: Correspondence , 1987-2013

The majority of the series is professional correspondence pertaining to photography projects, exhibitions, and events. Some files may contain agreements and contracts. Much of the correspondence received in the late 1980s is related to the controversy surrounding the exhibition of Serrano's Piss Christ. Personal correspondence is with friends, family, artists, and romantic partners, and is located in the general files.
