Planned Giving

Planned gifts allow the donor to leave an important legacy while also receiving tax benefits and income for life. Those who include the Archives of American Art in their estate plans and notify us are eligible for membership in the Smithsonian Legacy Society. By supporting us through your estate or life income gift, you are joining a special group of individuals who have recognized the timeless value of the Smithsonian's work and the enduring place it has in American culture. Legacy Society members also enjoy invitations to special programs, trips, and events. Please contact Advancement staff at 202-633-8768 to discuss endowment and planned giving opportunities.
