Biographical/Historical Note
The Midwest Women's Artist Conference at Ox-Bow School of Art in Saugatuck, Michigan, took place in 1975. The event was organized by Johnnie Johnson. Women aged twenty to sixty-five attended the event from various states around the midwest.
Provenance
Johnnie Johnson, the organizer of the conference, donated the photographs to the Archives of American Art in 1976.
