The papers of arts administrator and painter William Radford Thomas measure 0.4 linear feet and date from 1972 to 1975. The collection is comprised of documenation assembled by William Radford Thomas relating to the planning and execution of two key exhibitions or projects, Our Land, Our Sky, Our Water:an Exhibition of American and Canadian Art (named by Thomas) on the occasion of Expo '74 in Spokane, Washington, and Ken Friedman: Sightings (1975), a project staged at East Tennessee State University and Eastern Washington State University. Files may contain business and financial records; correspondence between administrators and participants; scattered photographs; research and preparation records such as resumes, lists, and copies of articles; printed material consists of clippings concerning the events and that produced by the events; and writings including poetry by others including Kunimasa Kuriyama and welcome notes, likely by Thomas.
