Office of Military Government for Germany comprises of materials related to Constable's work surveying the state of German and Italian art institutions after World War II. Correspondence includes memoranda and fact sheets from the U.S. Army to Constable, letters arranging visits to and from German cultural institutions, and updates on the logistics of travel and salary. The series also includes a transcript of a radio interview with Constable in 1949, Constable's notebook "Visits in Germany" (1949), a copy of his report
Art and Reorientation: Status and Future of Museums and the Teaching of Art in Western Germany
