1.3: Henri Matisse,

There are two letters from Henri Matisse to Valentine Dudensing written in French from Nice, France. In the first letter, Matisse thanks Dudensing for the presentation of the exhibition, and expresses his gratitude to Mrs. Dudensing. In the second, he announces his return from a long trip to Tahiti, Panama, Martinique, Guadaloupe and the U.S.. He discusses plans to return to Paris at the end of the month and hopes he has a chance to meet up with Dudensing.
