Biographical/Historical Note
Tyrus Wong (1910-2016) was a Chinese American painter, designer, illustrator, and printmaker based in California. He participated in the Works Progress Administration, Federal Art Project and later worked for Disney and Warner Bros. as an illustrator.
Provenance
Tyrus Wong lent his papers to the Archives of American Art for microfilming and the collection was returned after filming.
