Biographical Historical Note

Ardiadne Prior was an artist and bookbinder. She exhibited a painting in the Art Institute of Chicago’s 1935 annual exhibition for artists of Chicago and vicinity and, according to a Chicago Tribune article dated June 14, 1936, had a small exhibition at the Art Institute of her “paper paintings” or collages.
