This record forms part of the Chicago’s Art-Related Archival Materials: A Terra Foundation Resource project funded by the Terra Foundation for American Art. For this project, the Archives surveyed archival repositories throughout the Chicago region to identify art-related materials contained in their holdings. .01 linear feet of material consisting of scattered memorabilia about Martin R. Hurtig, including a typed memoir by Eileen Broido about the Navy Pier Campus, a poster from the Alonzo Gallery in New York City, a brochure for 1990 exhibition at Columbia College Art Gallery with an essay by Sue Taylor, and an announcement of an exhibition at the Adele Rosenberg Gallery.

Martin Hurtig is a Chicago artist and Professor Emeritus at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
