This record forms part of the Chicago’s Art-Related Archival Materials: A Terra Foundation Resource project funded by the Terra Foundation for American Art. For this project, the Archives surveyed archival repositories throughout the Chicago region to identify art-related materials contained in their holdings. Descriptive Summary

.5 linear feet (1 box) and 1 oversize portfolio consisting of a scrapbook relating to and exhibition catalogues for the Old Northwest Territory Art Exhibit. The scrapbook includes publicity materials and newspaper and magazine articles from 1947 to 1951, during Lester Burbank Bridaham's tenure as Assistant Director and Public Relations Counsel for the exhibit.

The Old Northwest Territory Art Exhibit was held in the Fine Arts Gallery, Exposition Hall, at the Illinois State Fair in Springfield, from 1947 to 1950.
