This record forms part of the Chicago’s Art-Related Archival Materials: A Terra Foundation Resource project funded by the Terra Foundation for American Art. Biographical Historical Note

After settling with her husband in Chicago during the mid-1960s, Marianne Deson opened her own gallery to showcase her growing personal collection and, eventually, then up-and-coming artists such as Ed Paschke, Bruce Nauman, John Baldessari, Andy Warhol, and Art Povera.
