This record forms part of the Chicago’s Art-Related Archival Materials: A Terra Foundation Resource project funded by the Terra Foundation for American Art. Biographical Historical Note

In the late 1950s Congress established a Franklin Delano Roosevelt memorial commission, which organized an open design competition for a site in West Potomac Park, Washington, D.C.
