Palette & Chisel Academy of Fine Arts

The Palette & Chisel Academy of Fine Arts was founded in 1895 as a venue for art instruction, exhibition, and socializing. The club's history and associated artists are documented in its archive, which complements and partly overlaps the organization's records on deposit at the nearby Newberry Library. The records in this web resource were compiled from in-person examination of materials.
