121 glass plate negatives in various sizes from 4 x 5 to 8 x 10, of images of sculptor Charles Haag, his family members and friends, artworks in progress and finished sculptures, and the artist’s studio and home

Biographical Historical Note

Charles Haag, American sculptor, lived his later life in Winnetka, Illinois. The collection was acquired by the McCormick Library from the N.U. Art History Department in 1989 to whom they had been given along with a series of small wood sculptures by Haag. The latter were sold by the Mary and Leigh Block Gallery at the Leslie Hindman Auction Gallery between 1993 and 1995.
