This record forms part of the Chicago’s Art-Related Archival Materials: A Terra Foundation Resource project funded by the Terra Foundation for American Art. For this project, the Archives surveyed archival repositories throughout the Chicago region to identify art-related materials contained in their holdings. 1 sculpture (The Maternity) and 2 bas-relief portrait medallions of William Deering and Abby Deering Howe (1916) and George Herbert Jones (1938) by Andrew O’Connor Jr.; 1 Hollinger box of related material including invoices and correspondence with hospital president Frederick Thielbar, photographs, biographical and publicity materials.
