Biographical Historical Note

William Edward Newton was a Chicago musician, artist, and designer. After launching a career as an instrumentalist and band leader, Newton studied for one year at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. He subsequently worked as a graphic designer, while composing and arranging music.
