This record forms part of the Chicago’s Art-Related Archival Materials: A Terra Foundation Resource project funded by the Terra Foundation for American Art. For this project, the Archives surveyed archival repositories throughout the Chicago region to identify art-related materials contained in their holdings. Biographical Historical Note
The Chicago Press Veterans Association was founded in 1933 to provide working newspaper men and women engaged in the art of gathering, writing, editing, and illustrating the news of the day a forum for sharing their common experiences. In the early 2000s the organization changed its name to the Chicago Journalists Association.
