Harold Washington Library Center (HWLC) serves as the headquarters and main branch of the Chicago Public Library, an 80-branch public library system. The Special Collections and Preservation Division houses most of the HWLC's archival collections. Finding aids are available in the Chicago Public Library online union catalogue.
