This record forms part of the Chicago’s Art-Related Archival Materials: A Terra Foundation Resource project funded by the Terra Foundation for American Art. Biographical Historical Note

A native of Tennessee, Joseph Parrish worked as a cartoonist at the Chicago Tribune from 1936 until his retirement in 1970.
