Descriptive Summary

Photographs taken by Jeff Crisman for an exhibition about Chicago architect Dwight Heald Perkins, held at the University of Illinois at Chicago's Department of Art & Architecture Gallery 400 in 1989. Included are interior views of the Perkins residence in Evanston, Illinois, featuring artwork by Lucy Fitch Perkins.

Biographical Historical Note

Lucy Fitch Perkins was an American children's book author and illustrator, famous for writing the Twins series of books. She was married to architect Dwight Perkins, who designed their home in Evanston, Ill.
