Beverly Arts Center exhibition records
This record forms part of the Chicago’s Art-Related Archival Materials: A Terra Foundation Resource project funded by the Terra Foundation for American Art. For this project, the Archives surveyed archival repositories throughout the Chicago region to identify art-related materials contained in their holdings. While the Archives of American Art does not own any of the materials described herein, information about those materials and links to the original repositories have been included when available.
Undetermined volume of material consisting of artists’ CVs and statements, price lists, slides, clippings, catalogues announcements, posters, CDs of images, and other items comprising scattered documentation of contemporary art exhibitions held at the Beverly Art Center since about 2005. Most of the artists represented are from the Chicago area, including many artist residents of the Beverly/Morgan Park neighborhood on Chicago’s South Side. Shows have included an annual juried exhibition and exhibitions of the Jewish Women Artists’ Network, the International Society of Experimental Artists, and ARC Gallery.
