8 items relating to Alice Kellogg Tyler, consisting of a letter from School of the Art Institute instructors (1888); 6 photographs including a portrait of Tyler, one of her Art Institute classmates, and exterior views of her home; and a one-page biographical sketch prepared in 1982 by the donor.

Biographical Historical Note

Alice Kellogg Tyler was a Chicago painter who trained and taught at the Art Institute of Chicago.
