Chicago Public Art Group
Chicago Public Art Group was founded in 1971 to establish creative partnerships between artists and communities in an effort to transform and enhance the lives of residents in urban Chicago neighborhoods. It sponsors the creation of mosaics, sculpture, and landscape design, as well as workshops and symposia. Its files document many of these projects as well as some of the artists involved. The record in this web resource was compiled from in-person examination of materials.
