Stanley Marsh 3 (1938-2014) was an artist and philanthropist in Amarillo, Texas nationally known for the establishment of Cadillac Ranch outside Amarillo, Texas, and was known for his outlandish artistic interventions in civic proceedings and spaces. Silver met Marsh 3 while traveling between Houston and New Mexico and the two became friends.
Donated in 2022 by Tomas Silver, Sam Silver's brother.
