Summary: A scrapbook titled "Involvements" documenting activities of Common Ground of the Arts and the involvement of its members during 1978 in the Detroit Council on the Arts; the organizing of the 42nd annual Conference of the Mid-America College Art Association (MACAA), held in Detroit October 25-28, 1978; the Michigan Association of Printmakers; the Artists Guild of Detroit; Detroit-Area Printmakers; studio tours of Common Ground's artists' studios held for graduate students at Wayne State University and members of the Archives of American Art; Common Ground's sponsorship of a Visual Artists Forum at Wayne State University; and the non-profit gallery Detroit Focus. Included are photographs, clippings; publications; and typed introductions for each category of involvement.

Common Ground of the Arts was an arts organization in Detroit, Michigan, established to support art and artists and whose members were active in many of Detroit's arts community.
