Biographical/Historical Note

Widow of Rockwell Kent, born Shirley Johnston in England, 1915, and emigrated to Canada as a child. Served as Kent's secretary both before and after their marriage in 1940. Married John Gorton and established The Rockwell Kent Legacies with Gorton as Director in 1973.
