Summary: Correspondence, photographs and slides, writings by Roehl, photocopies of works of art, and printed material documenting both Roehl's personal and professional relationships and his career as an experimental artist.
Personal and professional correspondence is between friends, colleagues and family, including Ann Lindsey, Jay Jensen, H.C. Westermann, and Peter Voulkos among others. Photographs and slides include 88 color slides and 44 photographs of sculpture created by Roehl and three photographs of Roehl. Also included are photocopies of 36 drawings of Roehl's sculpture designs. Writings included musings and an unpublished manuscript "Making the Devil Nervous" by Roehl. Printed material includes exhibition catalogs and newspaper clippings. Also included is a ficticious interview titled "American Trucker" between Roehl and J.T. Buck.
