Biographical/Historical Note

Art historian; Bard College. Stefan Hirsch was a painter, and instructor; raised in Germany by American parents. He moved to New York in 1919.

Provenance

Donated 1987 by di Vito. She compiled the material for her Senior project at Bard College.
