Summary: Three scrapbooks of clippings, 1925-1969; exhibition catalogs, 1946-1992; photographs of landscapes, landscape paintings, and Strong at work; and a sketchbook entitled "Ray Strong & Eric Panfitt's Ideas Book;" and miscellaneous printed material. Also included is an additional unbound scrapbook, 1927-1993, consisting of 34 items including printed material, personal and professional letters to Ray, transcripts of letters from Strong, photographs of works of art, a drawing, and photographs of Ray Strong.
Biographical/Historical Note
Ray Strong (1905-2006) was a mural painter in San Francisco and Santa Barbara, California.

Donated 1993 and 1996 by Ray Strong and in 2018 by Frank Goss, Sullivan Goss Gallery, Santa Barbara, California.
