Requesting Materials

You can request an appointment to view materials in the Washington, D.C. reading room or to receive reproductions. Requests can be made as you navigate through the collection on either the series description page (found through Contents and Arrangement) or on individual folders.

Restrictions on Access

Use of original papers requires an appointment and is limited to the Archives' Washington, D.C., Research Center. Use of archival audiovisual recordings and born-digital records with no duplicate copies requires advance notice.

Authorization for commercial use of audiovisual material for the documentary "Philip Pearlstein Draws the Artists' Model" requires prior arrangement with Pearlstein or his heirs.

Restrictions on Use

Audio visual material "Philip Pearlstein Draws the Artists' Model": Authorization to quote or reproduce for purposese of publication must be obtained from Pearlstein or his heirs.
