Oscar Collier (1924-1998) was a New York painter, associated with the movement from the 1940s and 1950s known as "Indian Space Painting" which drew inspiration from Pre-Columbian Art and Abstract Expressionism. This group of artists studied or taught at The Art Students League and were heavily influenced by Native American and Indigenous art.
