Alice Gray (1914-1944) was an entomologist in New York who co-founded the Friends of the Origami Center of America in New York.
Donated in 2023 by Mary Kay Walter whose husband, Leo G. Walter, Jr., was an antiques dealer and found the essay in a book about origami.
