Biographical/Historical Note

Marvin Lipofsky (1938-2016) was a glass artist and professor in Berkeley, Calif.


Donated 2004 by Ruth Okimoto, Lipofsky's spouse, on behalf of Marvin Lipofsky as part of the Nanette L. Laitman Documentation Project for Craft and Decorative Arts in America and in 2017 and 2018 by Lisa Lipofsky- Valenzula, Marvin Lipofsky's daughter.
