Biographical/Historical Note

Lucinda H. Gedeon is a retired art historian in Vero Beach, Florida. Charles W. (Wilbert) White (1918-1979) was an African American painter in New York, New York and Los Angeles, California.


The Lucinda H. Gedeon research materials on Charles W. White were donated to the Archives of American Art by Lucinda H. Gedeon in 2007.
