Original footage includes interviews with Faith Ringgold at a residency in Southern France and in Harlem, New York City, and footage of Ringgold working in her studio. Additional footage includes narration by Lowery Sims who hosts the program, and location footage in New York City. Transcripts for all original footage are present.
Production material includes various edits, research, correspondence, notes, and scripts. The finished documentary is found in both a long and a short version.
