This series consists of seven handwritten letters from Ira Glackens to Marion Travis. The letters mainly refer to Ira's daily activities and book projects. There are some references to their mutual acquaintances. Also found are holiday cards from Ira and Nancy Glackens to Marion Travis.

Printed material includes scattered exhibition brochures and catalogs, newpaper and magazine clippings. Catalogs document William Glackens's solo and group exhibitions at Kraushaar Art Galleries and the Whitney Studio Galleries. Two issues of the American Federation of Art's Magazine of Art feature essay-length reviews on the work of William Glackens and Maurice Prendergast. Some of the printed material is rare.

Series 3:Photographs, 1917-circa 1930

This series contains mostly black and white snapshots of William Glackens, his wife, Edith Dimock Glackens, family and friends at their home in Westport, Connecticut. There are a few snapshots of the Glackens family on their travels. Also found are images of Charles and Eugene Prendergast, presumably at the Glackens home. Some of the individuals and venues are not identified.
