Summary: The papers of sculptor and painter Leon Saulter date from 1925 to 1968. Found are photographs of Saulter and his works of art and printed material including clippings and exhibition announcements and catalogs.
Leon Saulter (1908-1986) was a painter and sculptor in Los Angeles, California. Born in Poland, Saulter settled in Los Angeles, California and remained there until he died in 1986. He was an active participant in the Works Progress Administration, Federal Art Project.
Leon Saulter lent his papers for microfilming in 1964 and the papers were returned after filming.
