Biographical material, correspondence, artists' files, printed material and interviews relating to artists Pat Steir, Jaune Quick-to-See Smith, Lynne Allen, and Lesley Dill compiled by Kit Smyth Basquin for her dissertation, "Words Expand Postmodern Prints by Pat Steir, Jaune Quick-to-See Smith, Lynne Allen, and Lesley Dill," Union Institute and University, Cincinnati, Ohio, 2008.

Biographical material, contained in binders, includes resumes and printed material for each artist. Correspondence is between Basquin and each artist. Artists' files include transcripts of interviews conducted by Basquin with each artist. Printed material includes articles on the artists, some of which were written by Basquin. Audio visual material includes sound recordings on cassettes of interviews by Basquin with the artists and a 2007 lecture by Lesley Dill. Most of the interviews have transcripts.
