Summary: One bound volume containing a letter from Trumbull to Richard Rush regarding the death of Benjamin West; a letter to Sir Thomas Lawrence congratulating him on becoming president of the Royal Academy; a color chart for "Our Saviour Receiving Little Children"; 7 proofs of an engraving of the painting "Surrender of Cornwallis"; and an invitation to a dinner in honor of Daniel Webster.

Biographical/Historical Note

Painter; New Haven, Connecticut. Born in Lebanon, Ct. Studied under Benjamin West in London. Painted historic portraits and paintings.
