Summary: A pocket diary of a trip to Italy and France, January to July 1867, in which Jenny Colburn Darley briefly notes daily sightseeing activities, visits with friends and shopping trips, and only occasionally mentions the sketching activities of her husband Felix Octavius Carr (F.O.C.) Darley.

Biographical/Historical Note

Jenny G. Colburn Darley (1829-1916) was the wife of artist Felix Octavius Carr Darley. After their marriage in 1859, they moved to Claymont, Delaware.
