Eugene writes lengthy letters about such matters as: his feelings about breaking with Knoedler Gallery and where to go next; the relationship between the gallery and the artists; arrangements for exhibitions of his work; the works of Christian Berard; the proposed Neoromantic exhibition at Princeton; personal matters; requests for her assistance in various matters; and his unsuccessful show at Larcada Gallery. He refers to Joseph Kelleher, Robert Tobin, Nathan Cummings, Frank Lloyd and Harry Brooks.
