Galloway discusses his father's career as an artist and as a manual training teacher at a local orphanage, where he made virtually everything necessary for the school's functioning. After his retirement, Ed Galloway began making large concrete totem poles on his property near Foyil, Oklahoma. Paul Galloway also discusses the subsequent theft and physical deterioration of many of the objects.
