Description: A compilation of 47 short reels of super 8 mm film, assembled into 9 reels for transfer to video. The creator is unknown.
Film is separated into two parts - both compilations of smaller color films - and feature sound and silent portions.
Part 1 contains all sound films. They include segments of Kolin singing, a look inside her home studio, and the process involved in setting up an installation work (finding the location, planning the position of the sculpture, creating the sculpture itself).
Part 2 opens with three small, short films featuring pigeons in a park (silent), a dog playing in a yard (silent), and an unidentified man making pizza dough (sound). After these first eight minutes, the rest of the second film features Sacha Kolin both working in her studio making wooden models of her sculptures (silent) and visiting the metal-works shop where her sculptures are constructed (sound). There is also an interview portion towards the end of the compilation, with sound, in which Kolin discusses her painting process.
