Title: Robert Strong Woodward in a car
Date: ca. 1930
Physical Details: 1 photographic print : sepia ; 8 x 13 cm.
Description: handwritten on verso: Taken in the backyard of Mrs. Dresser's as Arthur and I were about to leave - to show you how we pack the car. By leaving the lid up we get a fabulous amount of baggage in the little car. Bt taking the wheels off and folding it flat my wheel chair goes in; it is in the back of it which projects out so far with a steamer rug over it. I have one of Mrs. Dresser's little dogs on my lap but it barely shows. Note our balloon tires which make riding infinitely easier. There is a drop pf 1000 feet from the yard into the valley below. Mt. Hunger and Mt. mansfield show in the distant horizon.
