Description: Identification on verso (typewritten): Customers sit directly in front of a mirrored wall. Lighting is provided by a light trough which extends around the room at the base of the wall. One of the two private fitting rooms, which are arranged like bird cages, is seen in the corner of the showroom. The furniture is iron, metalized to a gold finish, and upholstered in a grained grey fabric which matches the natural finish waxed harewood used in the showroom. The hat stands are metalized iron, wrought in the shape of flowers. The floor is oak, stained to a light grey, in large panels which are separated by strips of brass.
