Baur, the museum's director; Budd Hopkins, whose painting Yarmouth was in the exhibit; Raphael Soyer, whose portrait of John and Alice Rewald was in the exhibit; Mrs. Irving, a granddaughter of Gertrude Vanderbilt Whitney; Margaret McKellar of the Whitney; Jacques Kaplan, a collector; the artist Theodoros Stamos; Ben Cunningham, whose painting Six dimensions of orange was in the exhibit; the owner of the East Hampton Gallery.
