On cassette 1 side 1, Strand discusses his relationship with the Albright-Nox Art Gallery and the history of photographic paper. This interview cuts off abruptly as the interviewer ran out of tape.

On cassette 1 side 2, Strand discusses his own photographic method and the use of photography to bring awareness to instances of social injustice in society.

On cassette 2 side 1, Strand discusses his education and early work as a freelance photographer.

Cassette 2 side 2 continues with Strand's work as a freelance photographer and goes on to discuss his later works.
