Biographical/Historical Note
Ofelia Esparza (1932- ) is an artist in Los Angeles, California known for her ofrendas, or altars. Esparza is a sixth-generation altar maker and educates widely, holding workshops on honoring history through altars. She has also worked with Self Help Graphics in her home in Los Angeles.
