Biographical/Historical Note
Interviewee Jean Boghossian (1949-) is a Belgian-Lebanese artist known for his incorporation of smoke and fire techniques throughout his sculptures, installations, and paintings. Affiliated with Fluxus, he also represented Armenia at the 2015 Venice Biennale. Born in Aleppo, Syria, he lives and works in Brussels, Belgium.
Interviewer Katie Larson (1986-) is an art historian based in Washington, DC.
