Interviewee Jamal Cyrus (1973-) is a collage, assemblage, and installation artist based in Houston, Texas. His work draws inspiration from the quilt as a format for integration and reconciliation.
Interviewer Chad Dawkins (1982-) is a critic and curator based in Atlanta, Georgia.
